You do more than you think

point On the last day of our 7-day retreat, Ryan H. shared with us an important idea.

This is the Strategy of Preeminence’ by marketing expert and copywriter Jay Abraham.

You see, when Ryan was explaining to our group how he sends a daily email to his subscribers, and generates up to $15,000 a month this way, a few ‘limiting beliefs’ came up for a handful of our attendees. They were apprehensive at the idea of sending out emails to their subscribers.

For example:
‘What if they don’t like what I send them?’
‘Will people get upset with me if I email them every day?’
‘I don’t know what I could send them every day?’

Ryan explained:

“Let me share with you about ‘The Strategy of Preeminence’. It is an idea by Jay Abraham.

By sending emails to your list every day, you provide more than you think.

By sending emails to your people, you are showing them that you care, every day.

By sending emails to your people, you are showing them that they are important to you, every day.

By sending emails to your people, you are helping them every day.

99% of people live a sad life. But YOU, you give them that sparkle, that hope that their life can improve. You owe it to THEM to put yourself out there and BUILD YOUR LIST!”

He continued to explain how every day he finds one valuable idea or product that can move his people forward.

Hi Mark,
Loved the article. Great inspiration. Quick question. Within the article “JV” is mentioned a couple of times. I am assuming to do a “JV” one must own a product?
I don’t see how one can do a JV by sending traffic to an optin page for a free report. Thanks In Advance!”

–> Hi Eric, to do a joint venture (‘JV’) you need to have a mailing list, rather than a product.
Build your mailing list first, and you’ll be able to arrange joint ventures all the time.
Why? Because you will have something of real value that you can exchange with other marketers and business owners: access to a pool of interested prospects.

For example, when you have a mailing list you can work with another laptop entrepreneur to co-promote a live webinar, an offer, or simply to cross-promote your respective optin offers
(e.g. a free report). The latter is what is meant by ‘JV’ in this article (see my latest posts at my blog).
